Community support
We support disability-led organisations, global communities, and local initiatives working towards digital equality.
Conference sponsorship
We sponsor web development and design conferences to help make them more inclusive. Our sponsorships often cover live captions and free or discounted tickets for people from underrepresented groups.
Who it helps
Organisers, speakers, and attendees, especially those who might be excluded due to cost, location, or lack of representation in mainstream industry spaces.
Why it matters
While not all of these events are accessibility focused, they are all part of the broader web design and development community. We believe accessibility needs to be embedded across the entire industry, not siloed, and that supporting a broad range of events is one way to reach people who may not yet see accessibility as part of their role.
W3C TAG sponsorship
We sponsor Lola Odelola to participate in the W3C Technical Architecture Group (TAG), covering the time and costs that would otherwise limit her ability to take part.
Read more from our interview with Lola Odeloa.
Who it helps
The global web community, and the TAG itself, by ensuring that Lola’s unique skills and lived experience are part of shaping the future of web architecture.
Why it matters
The TAG plays a critical role in how the web evolves. Lola and others like her bring a valuable perspective grounded in ethical, inclusive design, and community-driven development. Our support helps ensure that voices like hers are part of decision-making because inclusive representation leads to better, more effective outcomes for everyone.
I enjoy working in standards, this is a part of my job where I genuinely feel like I'm making positive, meaningful contributions and working on TAG is an opportunity to increase the impact.
Charity donations
Since 2021, we’ve made 42 separate donations to 18 charities chosen by our team. These include organisations advancing disability rights, social equity, and crisis relief.
Who it helps
Charities working at local, national, and global levels across a range of communities.
Why it matters
Charity donations gives our team the opportunity to support causes they care about, reflect on the values that guide our work, and feel connected to the wider communities we’re part of, strengthening our culture of empathy and shared purpose.
